Chinese Association of Professionals in Science and Technology (CAPST) is one of the largest Chinese professional organizations in Southern USA. CAPST has held an educational seminar on how to prepare for college and how to thrive in college almost every year for more than ten years.  These seminars were

often held in the format of panel discussions by freshmen or newly admitted high school seniors, and they have been highly influential and greatly beneficial to the students and parents in the Chinese community.

Most of the panel discussions traditionally have been focused on the students' perspective on how to study, how to prepare for college and how to apply.  Last year we had a panel discussion by the parents only. This year we would like to offer yet another different perspective, that is to look at the college education from the universities' point of view in hopes that it completes the 360 degrees of viewing higher education.

This event is free. We welcome high school students and their parents to attend. Please bring your friends!
