Chris Scott, Principal
Mr. Scott was selected as the Principal of Tomball High School in 2017. Most recently, he opened Tomball I.S.D.’s newest campus, Creekside Park Junior High. He has worked in the education profession for 19 years and served Tomball ISD as the director of math and science for 7 years. Prior to joining Tomball ISD, he worked as a principal and an assistant principal in College Station ISD. He also worked as a high school science teacher and coach in Conroe ISD and Houston ISD. Mr. Scott earned a Master of Education at Sam Houston State University and a Bachelor of Science at the University of Houston.
Terrence Slaughter, Associate Principal
Mr. Slaughter started his education career after serving 21 years in the United States Marine Corps. He has 15 years of teaching experience and has taught NJROTC, LOTC, Texas History, and U.S. History. He also was an athletics coach and served in various leadership roles. Before coming to Tomball ISD, he worked in Houston ISD. In 2017, he was named Associate Principal of Tomball High School. This will be his first year at Tomball High School. Mr. Slaughter earned a Master of Educational Administration at Prairie View A&M University, a Bachelor of Arts History at the University of Houston, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management at the University of Maryland.
Mark Vierkant, Assistant Principal
Mr. Vierkant has taught for 10 years at Tomball High School. He was named Assistant Principal at Tomball High School after earning his master's degree. He is currently going into his seventeenth year as an assistant principal. Mr. Vierkant earned a Master in Educational Leadership from Sam Houston State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Stephen F. Austin State University (Axe 'em,Jacks).
Lisa Streat, Assistant Principal
Ms. Streat has 13 years of experience teaching in classrooms. In 2007, she was named Assistant Principal at Tomball High School. This will be her twenty-fourth year at Tomball High School and eleventh year as an administrator. Ms. Streat earned a Master in Administration and Supervision, a Bachelor of Science in Business Education Norfolk State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Virginia State University.
Carol Gibson, Assistant Principal

Russell Evans, Assistant Principal
Mr. Evans has taught and advised students for 3 years in the Department of Teaching, Learning and Culture at Texas A&M University. He was named Assistant Principal at Tomball High School in 2016. This will be his second year as an administrator, as well as his third year in Tomball ISD. Mr. Evans earned both a Bachelor of Science in Geography and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University. He is also currently working on his doctorate.
Christy Stanton, Assistant Principal
Ms. Stanton has worked in education for 17 years. She was named Assistant Principal for special populations at Tomball High School in 2017. She joins Tomball ISD from Klein ISD, where she has served as a high school assistant principal at Klein High School for the past 5 years. She has also served Cy-Fair ISD as an academic achievement specialist and biology teacher at Cy-Falls High School. Ms. Stanton earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Texas A&M University and a Master of Education at Sam Houston State University.
