Martha Fancher returns to Tomball High School in her fifth year as the Head Coach of the Girls Varsity Soccer Team and as an assistant coach to the Cross Country team. She has served as a head coach in the Houston area for the last fourteen years, accumulating an overall record of 207-64-11, at both Kingwood High School and Klein Collins High School, while her record at THS is 58-29-8. Coach Fancher has had over 81 players receive All-District, All-Region, All-State, and/or All-American honors. She has her D coaching license and a NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma. She is also the West Region Chair for the NSCAA High School Scholar All-American Committee. Coach Fancher has been named coach of the year in 2013, 2011, 2009, and 2004. In addition, she is a trainer for the Challenge Soccer Club, working with their CTAP Academy Programs. Coach Fancher received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from The University of Alabama in 1999 & 2001, where she was a 4 year letterman for the Women's Soccer Team. She is a 1996 graduate of Klein Oak High School. Her parents are faithful fans in the THS soccer stands and her sister is a coach in the Klein Independent School district.
Brooke Hopper, a 2010 Tomball graduate, will begin her first year at THS as a special education teacher and coach for Volleyball and Girls’ Soccer. She attended Wharton County Junior College where she played volleyball for two years and then transferred to Nicholls State University in Louisiana to finish out her college education and her volleyball career. Brooke was previously the head junior high volleyball coach at Rosehill Christian School and has coached club and camps for 7 years. Her family continues to be huge supporters of the Cougars and along with Brooke, is ecstatic about her returning to her roots.
