Course Description

Pre-Advanced Placement Biology (Biology PAP) is for high school students who wish to challenge themselves.  You will have more responsibility for your own learning.  That will allow us time for more discussion and group activities in class.  This course will help prepare you for more rigorous science classes, including but not limited to AP Biology.  We will both micro- and macro-Biology; plants, animals, fungi, protists, bacteria, and even structures within cells.  Biology is a rapidly expanding field, especially with everything we are learning now that we can sequence DNA!  This is a very exciting time in history to study Biology!
