Scholarship Opportunitiy for Seniors

The Society of Petroleum Engineers Gulf Coast Section Scholarship is a scholarship for students pursuing a career in the energy industry. The scholarship is a renewable yearly scholarship, up to 4 years ($2,000/semester, $4,000/academic year). Since its inception, the SPE GCS section has
awarded more than $5 million in scholarships, with up to 10 scholarships to be awarded for the coming academic year (exact number TBD).

Fall 2021 PSAT Scores Released Online!

PSAT scores are now in the student’s College Board account. For more information about how to access scores, understanding your scores, and what to do next, click HERE. Please refer to the College Board login information before contacting us.  A common issue that students encounter is not receiving their reset password email.  Students should check their spam folders first before contacting College Board.

Fine Arts Scholarship



The Pavilion Partners Fine Arts Scholarships are awarded to high school seniors who are majoring in a fine arts program at the college or university of their choice. To many students, these scholarships are vital to accomplishing a degree in a fine arts discipline. Through fundraising efforts of The Pavilion Partners, students are enabled to pursue their passion at the college level and beyond. These scholarships range, as funds are available, from $2,500 to $7,500.


For graduating seniors with talents in: Dance, Instrumental Music, Musical Theatre, Theater Arts, Visual Arts & Vocal Music

    • One MUST be from an instructor in the applicant’s chosen field such as a teacher or private instructor

GenTX Scholarship for Seniors

The GenTX scholarship is now live! Our THS faculty and staff generously donated to make this scholarship available for seniors. There will be FOUR $235 scholarships awarded.  Counselors will be available to take submissions during ALL lunches at the counselor table across from 1102 in the commons. To apply you will need to do each of the following:

1. Show proof that you've submitted a college or tech/trade school application (Ex: email proof, applicant portal, acceptance letter, etc.)

2. Show proof that you've submitted your FAFSA or TASFA (Ex: SAR, email proof, applicant portal, through your FAFSA website)

Once you've submitted proof your name will be entered into a drawing to win the scholarship. The deadline to enter the scholarship drawing is Friday, December 3rd. The four winners will be surprised sometime the week of December 6th.

Also, if you've been awarded any scholarships, decided where you're attending, honor cords, academic awards, please be sure to fill out the Senior Info sheet at the counselor table. We're now starting to put senior names on the College Bound Cougar Board in the Commons!  All seniors should have already received the Senior Info sheet through English class (bright yellow). If you lost yours more will be available at the counselor table.
