My name is Andrea Villasana Valdespino. This is my fourth year teaching at Tomball High School.
I am originally from Mexico City, so I grew up speaking Spanish. I moved to Houston with my family my sophmore year where I attended Stratford High School. After HS, I was fortunate enough to receive a Tennis Scholarship at a Junior College named Lee College, where I played for three years. Then, I transferred to the University of Houston where I graduated with a Major in Sports Management and a Minor in Nutrition. After many years of being a Tennis Coach I decided to follow my dream of also being a Spanish Teacher to share and teach not only the language but the beautiful culture that even though I have lived in the U.S. for half my life, it will always be a part of me.
I am very fortunate and thankful that at Tomball High School I'm being able to share my knowledge on two things that I am very passionate about: my language/culture and my Tennis skills.
Other passions of mine or hobbies include: running (I will be running my third marathon this coming January), traveling, dancing and spending time with family and friends.
I'm looking forward to a great 2021-2022 school year!
Ms. Villasana
