About Me

My name is Anna Sansom and I will be your Health Science teacher this school year! I am so excited to get to know
each and every one of you and to share my experience in the healthcare field!

My husband and I are from Tomball and are both Tomball High School graduates. I graduated from the University of
Texas at Tyler with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2009. I am a board certified Registered Nurse by
trade with nearly 12 years of experience in the hospital setting ranging from telemetry (heart conditions), medical and surgical care, hospital leadership, and more recently pre-anesthesia testing. I also have two years of experience teaching health science classes at Tomball Memorial HS. This year, I will be teaching medical terminology, health science clinicals/theory, and Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) practicum.
I am eager to get to know you and your future career goals in the healthcare field. There are so many career options in healthcare and together we can discover what will ignite your love for learning.
My conference period is during 5th period (12:19-12:49). Please, don't hesitate to contact me!
All the best,
Anna Sansom BSN, RN-BC
