About the teacher
I am originally from the Beaumont, Texas area. I graduated from Lamar University in 2003 with a B.S in biology and a minor in chemistry. After graduating I worked in an emulsion rubber plant lab as a quality control chemist. When I moved to Houston I worked as a lab manager for a small company that produced water quality chemicals and then accepted a teaching job at Kingwood High school shortly after getting married in 2005. For the past 14 years I have worked in Tomball ISD at Willow Wood Junior high teaching IPC, Biology, 8th grade science and STAAR prep. During my tenure I earned my Master's degree in School Counseling, spending a year in and a half in the role as counselor at the same school before returning to the classroom. I have two children in Tomball ISD. Greyson will be in 4th grade at Grand Oaks and Ethan will be in 9th grade at Tomball Memorial.
I am truly excited to begin working with students at Tomball High school.
