About Tomball High School HOSA-Future Health Professionals: 
HOSA provides a unique program of leadership development, motivation, and recognition exclusively for secondary, postsecondary, collegiate students enrolled in health science education and biomedical science programs or have interests in pursuing careers in health professions. HOSA is 100% healthcare!
 
Mission:
The mission of HOSA is to empower HOSA-Future Health Professionals to become leaders in the global health community through education, collaboration, and experience. HOSA desires to enhance the delivery of compassionate, quality healthcare by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill and leadership development of all health science technology education students, therefore, helping students to meet the needs of the healthcare community.
 
How to Join:
Complete the membership form and pay required organization dues via School Cash Online (link TBA). Everyone is welcome to join HOSA; you don't have to be in a health science class. Pick up a membership form from any Health Science teacher. Forms and fees are due October 12th. 
 
First Meeting: September 14th @ 2:45pm in Room 1263 (LGI). 
 
Conferences and competitions are not required, but highly encouraged for the great experiences in various leadership and teamwork activities specifically designed for future health professionals. Additional information and costs will be announced as they are available.

Every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 2:45

Mrs. Hight's classroom, room 1263
 
Parent Permission Required?
Yes, see membership form. 
 
Other Information:
  • We provide snacks and bond at the end of every meeting;
  • We have a spirit night every month at different places around Tomball (i.e. Sonic, Chick-Fil-A);
  • In the Fall, we attend the Fall Leadership Conference;
  • In the Spring, we compete at Area and State Leadership Conferences;
  • In the Summer, we compete at International Leadership Conference;
  • We host the blood drive and other health-related events.
