Clint Cottom - Director of Theatre

Mr. Cottom has been teaching Theatre and has served as Technical Director at Tomball High School for 26 years. His previous four years were at Klein Forest High School. Mr. Cottom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching from Sam Houston State University with a Major in Theatre and has obtained numerous Graduate hours in Gifted and Talented Education and in Theatre. He also taught and served as talent coordinator for the Texas Governor’s Program for Gifted and Talented students for six summers. His awards include the Theatre Alumni of the Year Award from the Sam Houston State University Theatre Department, Walmart Teacher of the Year, the 2011 Alma Slawinski Thespian Leadership Award, and the 2014 Texas Thespians Hall of Fame Theatre Director Award.  In 2017, Mr. Cottom was named a Tomball High School A+ Teacher of the Year in 2017.

The MOPAP, or the Tomball STAGE Manual of Policies and Procedures, delineates all the information and expectations of the students involved in our extra-curricular activities.
Tutoring for Tomball High School Theatre Classes are held Thursdays from 6:45-7:15 in Mrs. Hearn's room and from 2:40-3:10 in Mr. Cottom's room. Due to the Tomball STAGE Rehearsal and Crew schedules, tutorials need to set up by appointment in advance with the teacher.
