About Orchestra

Brief History:

The Tomball High School Orchestra program has been around for over 10 years, starting with 6th graders only during the 2008-2009 school year, and has continued to grow since. The Tomball HS Orchestra program, and its feeders, have over 400 members enrolled between grades 6-12. Our programs continue to earn UIL Sweepstakes, participate in UIL Solo & Ensemble Contest, and participate in other social and community and events!

Tomball High School Feeders:

Tomball HS is fed by two campuses, Creekside Park JH (6th - 8th), and Tomball JH (7th & 8th) which is fed by Tomball Intermediate (6th). Both Junior High Programs have three to four performing ensembles in addition to the  homogeneous beginner classes.

About Tomball High School Orchestra:

Tomball High School Orchestra has five performing ensembles: Full Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra,  Concert Orchestra, & Sinfonietta. Members are placed through in ensembles though continued evaluation that may include and audition process. We have incredibly high standards for all students and hold our members to a higher standard that will help guide them through life. We don't just teach orchestra, we teach "life skills".
