Tomball ISD's Human Talent Department made an intentional effort to celebrate those Team Tomball staff members who go above and beyond to serve as Culture Cultivators.

Tomball ISD was proud to recognize and celebrate over 250 campus volunteers for their commitment to serving and volunteering in our District and on our campuses throughout the year.

A feature on Coach Doug Rush and Tomball High School baseball, highlighting over 600 career wins, two state championships, sustained playoff success, and the program’s culture of consistency, community, and player development.

At Creekside Forest Elementary, students brought music from home into the classroom through the Family Folk Song Collection, a project led by Jessica Hughes that celebrates culture, family traditions, and a sense of belonging.

Grand Oaks Elementary’s Family Engagement Night brought students and families together for an evening of hands-on learning, connection, and community. Through interactive activities, performances, and a meaningful Story Walk featuring a parent-written book, the event highlighted the campus’s commitment to inclusion, real-world learning, and ensuring every student and family feels welcomed, supported, and celebrated.

Ms. Menah, a Tomball ISD bus driver, goes the extra mile every day to return to NIS and help Matthew, a thriving fifth grader navigate the bus stairs - helping him gain confidence and independence. 

Tomball ISD’s annual Tomball Reads Week brings students, staff and the community together to celebrate the joy and importance of reading. Through guest readers, themed activities and cross-campus involvement—including high school student-athletes and community leaders—campuses promote a culture of literacy and inspire students of all ages to become lifelong readers.

Congratulations to West Elementary Librarian Bev Schaffer on being recognized by KHOU's Great Day Houston and Randalls with the Red Apple Award.

Tomball Memorial High School health science student Sandy Tellez was recently honored for demonstrating exceptional clinical skill and composure during a critical emergency medical call. 

Through its Tomball’s Got Talent initiative, Tomball ISD Human Talent honored educators who model Great Expectations and TISD CAREER principles in their classrooms. The celebration highlights teachers who combine academic excellence with character and career readiness, reinforcing the district’s commitment to Destination Excellence and a strong culture of excellence.
